Receipt Scanner & Exporter ("the App") is built with a strict privacy-first architecture. This document outlines exactly how your data is handled.
1. Local Processing & Storage
All image processing, including edge detection and visual enhancements, is performed entirely on your device. We do not transmit, upload, or store your receipts on any external servers. Your data remains strictly in your device's local storage.
2. Camera and File Access
The App requests camera access solely to capture images of your receipts. It requests file storage access to save the consolidated ZIP archives you generate. The App cannot and does not access any photos or files outside of its own designated folders.
3. Subscriptions & Analytics
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases (such as the Pro upgrade). RevenueCat generates an anonymous identifier to track your subscription status across your devices. This identifier is completely disconnected from your personal identity and contains zero information about your scanned receipts.
4. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. We advise you to review this page occasionally for any changes. Changes are effective immediately upon being posted.
